Why you should drink water with your coffee?
- Keep hydrated and healthy: Coffee is a diuretic, meaning it is something that dehydrates your body. This makes it super important to replenish your body and re-hydrate every time you enjoy a delicious brew. It’s especially crucial to drink a cup of water before your morning coffee as our bodies are usually fairly dehydrated after fasting all night.
- Ease stomach discomfort: If you drink coffee first thing in the morning before breakfast, coffee can irritate your stomach as it can be quite acidic. To aid with this, drink some water before your morning coffee if you’re not having breakfast.
- Your coffee will taste better: Downing some water before drinking your coffee will also help cleanse your palate. Cleansing the palate is essentially resetting your taste buds so you can experience the true flavours of what you’re eating or drinking.
